Nicki and I are spending a few days visiting her brother in the fine city of Portland. We’re really looking forward to this adventure (and some Stumptown coffee).

Frozen Waterfalls
Nicki and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Sperryville, Va (about 1.5 hours from us) to go hike the Whiteoak Canyon Trail today. This trail has been one of my favorites for quite a while because of all the great waterfall views. I took Nicki hiking on this trail while we were dating, but she’d never seen it in the winter (when, in my opinion, it’s most beautiful). So we went today.
